Libraries

With this Series I wanted to make homage to Universal Literature by representing three different spaces marked by three different lights. I wanted the books of each one of the spaces to have a relation with the atmosphere given by the light and I also used decorative elements to emphasize that. For example, in the first one, the blue color creates a nocturnal atmosphere that alludes to mystery and there are books like Dracula by Bram Stoker, Opus Nigrum by Marguerite Yourcenar, and books by Anne Rice. In the Second One, the yellow color gives a cheerful atmosphere, thus there you can find books of Art, Poetry and Theater Pieces. In the last one, the atmosphere is given by the brown color, which recreates a serious and intellectual ambient. There are books by Karl Marx, Franz Kafka, Federico García Lorca, Dostoyevski and some others. This piece was used one year later for the monthly Eafit University's Newspaper in an issue that was about books.
